Advocates for Animal Freedom
Meet the Team
The Yes On IP28 campaign would not be possible without all of the individuals who have come together to help us bring the message of animal liberation to the ballot in Oregon. It is our hope that sharing more about the individuals who organize for our campaign will help others connect with the compassionate nature behind our strategy and goals.

Testimonials
Hear from some of the members of our campaign about why we want to see IP28 on the ballot in Oregon.
Gabriel
"The matter is simple. I desire the very same things which the measure would request of Oregon voters. "
Avery (She/They)
"IP28 represents an important step towards a more compassionate state for nonhuman animals."
Nick (He/Him)
"IP28 seeks to end the suffering of others. It aligns with my values of compassion, consent, and respect for all living beings."
Sam (He/Him)
"I want to see IP28 on the ballot because the conversation about how we regard our non-human cousins is long overdue."
Nick (They/Them)
"All sentient beings, including those on farms, in the wild, and in labs, deserve freedom from exploitation and respect for their individual experiences. If we require someone else to suffer in order to gain something, we must demand from ourselves and others alternative solutions and live true to those demands."
Isaac (He/They)
"We all agree that we want a just society and a ballot initiative is a way to spark a conversation about how we can establish a new system that doesn’t rely on the use of animals."
David
"When voters in Oregon are asked—for the first time in world history—whether they would like to protect animals from slaughter, hunting, experimentation, and forced breeding, I believe those conversations will help wake us up to how we currently relate to animals and illuminate what alternative relations are possible."
